These Terms govern your use of the QueryWarden website, accounts, dashboard, resolver endpoints, support, and subscription services.
1. Provider and agreement
QueryWarden is operated and provided by Digiport OÜ, Viru väljak 2, Tallinn 10111, Estonia (“QueryWarden”, “we”, “us”). Our registry and VAT details are listed in the Company details. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use QueryWarden for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived continue to apply.
2. The service
QueryWarden provides managed DNS resolution, encrypted device endpoints, configurable security filtering, DNS activity visibility, and related support. DNS filtering is an additional security layer, not a complete security product. It cannot detect every threat, inspect encrypted content, replace endpoint security, or guarantee that every classification is correct.
During pre-launch or early access, features may change, have limited capacity, or be temporarily unavailable. We will not present a component as generally available until it is operational.
3. Accounts and endpoints
You are responsible for access to your email account, the accuracy of account information, and all activity under your account. Private resolver URLs are credentials: do not publish, share, resell, or embed them in public software. Remove a device immediately if its endpoint may have been exposed.
We may rate-limit, rotate, or disable an endpoint to address abuse, security risk, or service integrity. You must use the service only for devices, users, and networks you own or are authorized to administer.
4. Free and paid plans
The Free plan currently includes one device, one protection profile, real-time query logs, up to 48 hours of analytics history, and 24/7 email intake. Paid plan features, prices, taxes, billing intervals, and minimum seats are shown at checkout and become binding when you confirm an order.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until cancelled. You may cancel before renewal; access continues until the end of the paid period unless law requires otherwise. Fees are generally non-refundable except where these Terms, checkout terms, or mandatory law provide a refund.
Consumers purchasing online may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right. If you ask us to begin a paid service immediately, you may owe a proportionate amount for service supplied before withdrawal. Checkout will present any required consent and withdrawal information before paid plans launch.
5. Support
Every plan includes 24/7 email intake through our . Our operating target is an average initial response time of 30 minutes. It is a service target, not a guaranteed response time or contractual service-level agreement unless a separate written SLA says otherwise.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service unlawfully, infringe third-party rights, or facilitate malware, phishing, fraud, harassment, or unauthorized access;
- operate a public resolver, proxy, resale service, or shared credential service through QueryWarden without written permission;
- probe, overload, bypass limits, interfere with, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the service or another account;
- misrepresent origin, automate abusive traffic, or use the service in a way that harms our infrastructure, providers, or users;
- rely on QueryWarden for emergency, life-safety, or other use where a DNS interruption could cause death, personal injury, or severe physical damage.
7. Changes, maintenance, and availability
We may maintain, update, replace, or discontinue features. We aim to give reasonable notice of material adverse changes. Emergency maintenance, attacks, upstream failures, and events outside our reasonable control may interrupt service. Unless a written SLA applies, no specific uptime is guaranteed.
8. Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process data. Resolver operation depends on internet infrastructure and selected providers, including hosting, email, upstream DNS, and future payment or identity providers. Their services may also be governed by their own terms.
9. Intellectual property
QueryWarden, its software, design, content, and branding are owned by or licensed to Digiport OÜ. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your plan. You retain ownership of your content and configurations and grant us the rights needed to process them solely to provide, secure, and improve the service.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties that can lawfully be excluded. We are not responsible for third-party content, destinations, upstream networks, or decisions you make based on DNS classifications.
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. For business users, our aggregate liability arising from the service during any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the affected service during that period. If you paid no fees, the cap is EUR 100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, revenue, goodwill, or data, to the extent permitted by law. Consumer statutory remedies remain unaffected.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Free plan at any time and may request account closure. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, or non-payment. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure. Provisions that by nature should survive termination remain effective.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, provider, or product changes. Material changes will be notified through the service or email and will apply prospectively. If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using the service and cancel before it takes effect.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Estonia sitting in Tallinn have jurisdiction, except that consumers retain any mandatory right to bring or defend proceedings in another competent court and retain the protection of mandatory law in their country of residence.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. EU consumers may also use any competent consumer dispute-resolution body available under applicable law.
